| Almeeva | Ever Out Weatherall french multi-instrumentist and producer Almeeva is releasing today a stunning Music Video for his new single "Ever Out Weatherall". The track is taken from his upcoming EP "To All My Friends" to be released October 29, 2021 on all digital platforms worldwide via label Baciami Disques. Almeeva aka Gregory Hoepffner is a multi-instrumentist & producer behind many projects (Jean Jean, Sure, Kabbel...) and collabs (remixes for Health, Bachar Mar Khalifé, La Jungle, Bernard Szajner...). His music was featured in TV series ("Drive To Survive", "Shameless"), the Olympics, a full length movie about Japanese bondage and even the most epic commercial for a world class toilet brand. Following a few releases for InFiné (Rone, Carl Craig, Apparat...), he will release "To All My Friends", an EP inspired by a new life in Sweden, and a redeeming encounter with producer extraordinaire Christoffer Berg (Fever Ray, The Knife, Robyn, Depeche Mode...), who now shares his studio with Gregory. Today he releases Ever Out Weatherall. "A special track that tells the story of a memorable night in Berlin, " says Gregory, "going from places to places, and ending up in Cocktail d'Amore, a party that really opened up my ears. When Andrew Weatherall died last year, I finally finished the track and decided to pay hommage in the title, because revisiting his work gave me the courage to follow my original vision : going outside the " club track " mold, but keeping the energy and darkness of post-punk, without any compromise." write your comments about the article :: © 2021 Jazz News :: home page |
