| MONTCLAIR JAZZ FEST SWINGS DOWNTOWN FOR SEPTEMBER GRAND FINALE On the heels of a magical summer series of evening concerts and all-day swinging block parties attended by thousands of music fans, the 12th Annual MONTCLAIR JAZZ FESTIVAL heats up for the Downtown Jamboree, a jam-packed exciting full day of free inspiring live music on Saturday, September 25, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM bringing us back together again. Internationally acclaimed headliners, regional favorites and emerging talent will perform on four stages spanning an all-pedestrian Bloomfield Avenue, a half-mile long jazz playground with 150 artists, 100+ vendors and a Family Jazz Discovery Zone. Produced by JAZZ HOUSE KiDS, one of the nation's foremost jazz education organizations for young people with its Artistic Director and festival curator, 7-time GRAMMY-winning bassist Christian McBride, the festival presents a diverse range of styles, ages, and talent. Partnering with new presenting sponsors BDP Holdings, LLC and Montclair Center BID, the festival was moved downtown this year to support local businesses.
