| Colver — Doing It Wrong Brussels-based quartet Colver is releasing today a stunning Music Video for the single "Doing It Wrong". The track is taken from their upcoming EP "Walk Swim Fly" to be released September 24, 2021 on vinyl format and all digital platforms worldwide. Colver is very fond of mallard ducks – better known by his admirers as Anas Platyrhynchos – and that is no secret. That these four lads live and breathe indie rock is now also certain. The Bruxelles-based band is the latest newcomer to the big "Belpop" family, and has that elusive but spicy ingredient in common with other Belgian bands like Balthazar, Absynthe Minded and Girls in Hawaii. "Doing It Wrong" is the first single taken from "Walk Swim Fly", their upcoming debut EP. The song is the opening track of the record and evokes the difficulties in relationships of being able to share one's doubts and concerns to the other. "For this track", says Hugo Larisch (director of the video and drummer of the band), "we wanted to build upon the story told with [our previous music video] "Thinking Out Loud" (2020), and continue portraying human nature through dance, yet this time with a more modern, urban approach. And what better way to express the unsaid than through dance? We also wanted to give off a sense of nostalgia and poetry, hence the choice of slightly abstract light paintings throughout the video." write your comments about the article :: © 2021 Jazz News :: home page |
