| GRAMMY NEWS: Gonzalo Rubalcaba & Aymée Nuviola - 'Viento y Tiempo' - Best Latin Jazz Album For the second consecutive year, Cuban singer songwriter Aymée Nuviola received a GRAMMY nomination - this year with acclaimed pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba in the category of Best Latin Jazz Album for their new release Viento y Tiempo – Live at Blue Note Tokyo. Released by Top Stop Music, the album was produced by Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Gregory Elias and was released to international acclaim this May. Rubalcaba is a virtuoso musician considered one of the leading figures in Afro-Cuban jazz of this century. To date, he has won two GRAMMY and two Latin GRAMMY awards. Earlier this year, Nuviola, who has been nicknamed "La Sonera del Mundo, " received her first GRAMMY Award for Best Tropical Latin Album for her previous release A Journey Through Cuban Music. In 2018, she won a Latin GRAMMY for Best Tropical Fusion Album, for her album Como Anillo Al Dedo. Fulfilling a longtime dream of working together, award-winning artists Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Aymée Nuviola released Viento y Tiempo – Live at Blue Note Tokyo. Childhood friends from Havana, Cuba, who have both received widespread acclaim for their work, they joined forces for this live recording that took place during the pair's six-night sold out stint at Tokyo's prestigious Blue Note in August 2019.
