| Ingrina | Jailers French band Ingrina is releasing today a new Music Video for single "Jailers". The song is taken from their upcoming second album "Siste Lys" to be released on November 27, 2020 via labels A Tant Rêver Du Roi and Medication Time Records. ABOUT THE SINGLE "Jailers" takes place after the storm, the one that scatters all landmarks, that spreads the jailers in the air, amongst the particles of light and between the synapses. Vaporous specters, translucent veils, the jailers drift, driven by the winds. We breathe them every day with no arm, until their deep purpose is revealed, while we still believe they're dissolved forever in the dust of the sky. So they hastily turn into solid prisons with no horizon, feeding the illusion that they arose from nothing and nowhere. ABOUT THE BAND AND THE ALBUM Ingrina is the name of a remembrance, of a sensation of vital ecstasy that this civilization seeks to make the living forget. It is also the name of an escape. The one rushing towards less hostile underworlds in which time itself is overtaken. Ingrina is the swaying experience of an unfinished yet longed-for desertion. (Over) Populated with two drums, three guitars, a bass and ghostly vocals, Ingrina strives to convey the melancholy caught between everything that is collapsing and what is beginning to emerge. Etter Lys, their debut album, describes the ordeal that life forms undergo when met with total colonization in the form of flows and streams: the liquidation of landmarks, the dissolution of knowledge, and finally abandonment, followed by... emergence. Siste Lys, their second effort, picks up pieces of the previous album, depicting the reappearance of the jailers, the walls and the present. This dark veil conceals movement, and makes the last rays of light an ecstasy, the memory of which will have to fight to persist. write your comments about the article :: © 2020 Jazz News :: home page |
