Jazz at Wolfson Presents | Dave Stryker| Nov. 4

Gary Giddins, jazz critic for The Village Voice, calls Dave Stryker "one of the most distinctive guitarists to come along in recent years."

Stryker's new CD, Eight Track III, stayed at number one on the JazzWeek Radio Chart for six straight weeks and received four stars in DownBeat magazine.

In 2017, he received the Best Guitarist Fans Decision from Hot House magazine and was voted as one of the top jazz guitarists in the 2019 DownBeat Critics and Readers polls.

Stryker has performed with numerous jazz greats, including Stanley Turrentine, Freddie Hubbard, James Moody, Dizzy Gillespie, Jimmy Smith, Dr. Lonnie Smith and many others.

He is an adjunct professor of jazz guitar at Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music, Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts, and at Montclair State University's John J. Cali School of Music.
