GARY LUCAS has been giving live solo performances and masterclasses for disadvantaged Mexican children over many years at the US Embassy's Biblioteca Benjamin Franklin in Mexico City, and recently received this letter of appreciation and thanks for his work from US Ambassador to Mexico Christopher Landau:

On Sunday August 23rd, a symphonic concert of all 12 songs Lucas co-wrote with his late friend and collaborator Jeff Buckley will be broadcast on producer Co de Kloet's "Co Live!" program on national Dutch radio NPO2 at 7pm Dutch time, 1pm EDT.

Recorded live at the Paradiso Amsterdam, this historic concert features Lucas with singers Alessio Franchini, Jolene Grunberg and others, backed by the 65-piece Metropole Orchestra, Europe's number-one fusion orchestra.
