POSTPONED: LIVE FROM OUR LIVING ROOMS CREATIVE SUMMIT & FUNDRAISER // BLACKOUT TUESDAY

To our dear friends, fellow musicians, and members of our global community:

With sadness in our hearts and solidarity for the Black community, Live From Our Living Rooms has decided to postpone our Creative Summit & Fundraiser to July 1 - 12, 2020. As we all endure the brutal murder of George Floyd and grapple with the continued inequity towards Black Americans, we feel it is imperative that we collectively pause to individually heal, and consider how to make progress as a society. This decision is not intended to silence the artists participating in this series but rather to give our artists, educators, professionals, and you - our audience - time to process and reflect on the important issues our country is facing right now.

We are aware that the social injustices we are confronting at the moment will not be resolved by July. The struggle will continue, and the pursuit of progress will persist. But we hope that with this additional time, we will all be ready to receive music as a form of comfort, expression, and most importantly an appreciation for the significant and valuable contributions the Black community has made to American culture.

We urge all our listeners, donors, and colleagues to stand with us in condemning structural racism and declaring that racial intolerance and violence must be stopped.

Tickets purchased and donations made will be credited towards the rescheduled events between July 1st and 12th. Our schedule will be reposted shortly, with hopes that you will join us in a revitalized summit of music through listening, learning and engagement.

Thank you all for your understanding and support of this decision. We truly look forward to hosting our Creative Summit & Fundraiser in July.

With love and respect,

Sirintip, Thana Alexa & Owen Broder
