| Cesare Dell'Anna and PianodiBanda, the magic of Banda to live the moment we could only dream about Is "PianodiBanda" the name of the new project of Apulian trumpeter and producer Cesare Dell'Anna that on february 18th release on his youtube channel the videoclip of "Ligonziana", banda composition of the Master Nino Ippolito, performed by the Albanian pianist Ekland Hasa. With PianodiBanda, Cesare Dell'Anna wish to return at the birth of music, where the grand composers of the South of Italy sat at the piano and composed the original musical notes to then share, arrange and orchestrate with the Banda. There was a time between the end of the 18th century and the start of the 19th century in which the first musical notes were born and which became symphonic banda marches. It is here that "PianodiBanda" wishes to return. This is Cesare Dell'Anna's concept for this new project, to bring music back to the parks squares of Europee with his GirodiBanda giving intimate and original concerts. PianodiBanda takes everything back to the essances, a dialog between a few. PianodiBanda is also a collective experience, an experiment of community. Imagine a "cassarmonica" (typical banda stage of South Italy) in the middle of a square without traffic like in a black and white film, coffee tables surrounding its boarded, cushions and rugs under the shade of trees. In this surreal atmosphere immersed in the silence of the southern Italian mornings, in the centre of the "cassarminica" only a tail piano, a pianist and the magic of his music. Was selected some of the best pianists from Puglia and beyond, from different and radical musical extractions (classical, jazz, blues, world) that will reinterpret in this essential version the most famous banda compositions. It is the first time ever that this genre is paid homage in this way, an unprecedented operation that restores to a popular genre its great cultural value and musical depth.
