| Elio Villafranca & the Jass Syncopators - Essex Junction, VT and Dizzy's Club NYC 2019 Grammy Nominee Elio Villafranca & the Jass Syncopators featuring Jeremy Pelt February 16 - Essex Junction, Vermont February 18-20 - Dizzy's Club NYC Elio Villafranca will debut his new Life Stories program with a rare Vermont appearance at Essex's Double E T-Rex theaters, then hit Dizzy's Club for a special three (3) three night run. Elio returns to Dizzy's Club with a new version of his Jass Syncopators featuring an exciting musical combination consisting of Jeremy Pelt on trumpet, Roxy Coss on tenor sax, James Burton on trombone, Peter Slavov on bass, drummer Dion Parson, and master Afro Cuban percussionist and vocalist Dreiser Durrutthy Bombalé. Life Stories is a program of original music by Elio Villafranca written for this band that offers a musical and humanitarian journey of Elio's own life experiences, expanding from Haiti to Cuba to Spain to New Orleans, as told through the rich Afro diaspora's landscape.
