| GARY LUCAS NEWS AND UPCOMING APPEARANCES GARY LUCAS just returned from Bilbao Spain where he performed the European premiere of his live solo guitar score accompanying Luis Bunuel's 1962 surrealist classic "El Angel Exterminador" at Sala BBK at the annual Musiketan Festival Jan. 27th. This marked his fifth time performing in Bilbao. His concert was a featured Pick in El Correo, the most popular newspaper in Bilbao: https://bit.ly/2DRZuiV Lucas began the New Year with a live film score performance at The Metrograph, NYC's premier arthouse cinema, accompanying Tod Browning's silent thriller "The Unholy Three" before a full house on Jan. 11th: https://vimeo.com/310997542 This was the second entry in an ongoing retrospective series of Gary Lucas' live film scores at The Metrograph, curated by Jacob Perlin and Robert Melvin Rubin.
