| ARC Music joins forces with Naxos Music Group After 42 strong and successful years as an independent World Music label, ARC Music Productions International has joined Naxos Music Group, having been acquired as a company by Naxos Rights Europe. The Naxos Music Group has been distributing the ARC label digitally worldwide and physically in several key markets for some time. Naxos is also operating the only dedicated world music subscription streaming platform, Naxos Music Library/World, which offers access to more than 12, 000 albums through a dedicated search engine. Julia Beyer, Executive Director and Head of A&R at ARC Music, and founder and CEO of Naxos Music Group, Klaus Heymann, felt that their partnership and the Naxos physical and digital distribution infrastructure will strengthen the worldwide presence of the label. In addition, Naxos will provide funding to ARC that will allow the label to sign more artists and increase its number of releases. ARC Music was first established in 1976 and it is a main goal of ARC Music to preserve the ethnic music of world cultures, and to spread traditional and original music with a positive message. The partnership is based on an understanding that the release quality, care and integrity of the ARC Music label will stay intact. Julia Beyer will continue leading the label as Head of A&R and ED of the company with Chris Tomsett as D/ED Operations overseeing the day to day operations of the company. These are exciting times for the label and this partnership has come at the right moment to only further and expand on what the label has achieved so far.
