GRAMMY Nominee Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats - “All the Sounds” Best Children’s Album

All the Sounds is the latest jazz age inspired album for kids and families by Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats . Featuring fantastic performances by the Jazz Cats Linus Wyrsch on clarinet, Larry Cook on bass, Rich Kulsar on drums. And a handful of guests including, GRAMMY Award winner Secret Agent 23 Skidoo ("Are You Afraid of the Dark"); Michael Irwin on trumpet; award winning opera singer, Adelmo Guidarelli returning as Mr. Opera Man ("Bunny Hop"), Kalantari's own 5-year-old son Darius Kalantari on little cello ("I Know A Little Fellow"); and Erich Schoen-René on big cello playing the tango ("Howl to the Moon") and the moving lullabye-esque title-track, "All the Sounds".

Lucy Kalantari is an award winning children's artist based in Brooklyn, New York, making jazz age inspired music for families. Lucy Kalantari & The Jazz Cats have been featured on Sprout House, the musically-infused programming block on Universal Kids. Her songs are on steady rotation on SiriusXM Kids Place Live and other family radio programs around the country. All 4 of her children's music releases have earned a Parents' Choice Award, including 3 Silver Honor Awards. Her hit song "Fantastic" off her album Big Things won the Independent Music Award for Best Children's Song. She also won the International Songwriting Competition in Children's category with "Balloon" also from Big Things. Her 2017 release, It's The Holidays earned 3 stars from Los Angeles Times. The latest release, All the Sounds earned a mention on Billboard for Hispanic Heritage Month for her songs "La Cosecha" and her Piazzolla-styled tango, "Howl to the Moon."
