| JAZZ AMBASSADORS: COLD WAR DIPLOMACY at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Wed., October 17th 7:30pm Jazz Ambassadors: Cold War Diplomacy WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17 7:30pm | Doors open at 6:30pm Join us for a panel discussion featuring musicians Wycliffe Gordon and Jimmy Owens and historians Ingrid Monson and Penny Von Eschen, moderated by Columbia University Professor Robert O'Meally. Following the panel, guests will be treated to a live performance by Wycliffe Gordon & His International All Stars, reimagining a concert behind the Iron Curtain. Beer and wine will be available for purchase with valid photo ID. Seating is first come, first served. Jazz Ambassadors: Cold War Diplomacy is offered in conjunction with the exhibition A View from the Deep: The Submarine Growler & the Cold War.
