Cardhouse shares dark alluring new single 'Unintentional' from debut album 'City Blur'

Cardhouse is the solo project of Portugal-based musician/producer Daniel Cardoso who is best known as the drummer in Anathema, a successful British alternative progressive rock band who regularly tours the world. Cardhouse is currently building momentum with his second single 'Unintentional' from his debut album 'City Blur'.

'Unintentional' consists of wistful intimate vocals, haunting guitar tones and incredibly smooth harmonies, the atmosphere that this song creates cannot be understated. The sparse production and heartbeat percussion allow the vocals and guitar solo to really shine through and grab a hold. The accompanying music video features a silhouette of Cardhouse up against a red background as he performs a live recording of the track and the effect is both dark and alluring.

Seventeen tracks deep 'City Blur' is a cohesive mix of alternative/dark indie/electronica that truly highlights the artist's strengths. With undeniable music production prowess and remarkable songwriting ability, Cardhouse takes the listener on an intimate journey through pain, love and loss.

Influenced by a diverse group of artists including Lana Del Ray, Arctic Monkeys, Nine Inch Nails and The Weeknd, Cardhouse has channelled that energy and crafted a sound that is both immersive and all his own. With meticulous, forward-thinking production and obvious attention to detail, 'Unintentional' will set your soul alight.
