| EL AMIR International Tour 2018 * Dates Confirmed Amir John Haddad is a talented German guitarist and multi instrumentalist living in Spain since 1997. He comes from a Palestinian and Colombian background and plays many instruments like flamenco guitar, Arabic oud, Greek buzuki, Turkish Saz, banjo, triple neck electric guitar (6, 7 and 12 string) and bass being a virtuous and very skillful interpreter on each of these instruments. His further musical interest has led him to play different music styles such as Flamenco, Funk, Oriental, Rock, World music, Fusion, Folk, etc… and form many own projects like: Zoobazar, "From East to West", "El Amir" Flamenco Sextet y Members of Parliament. Amir began his career on stage only twelve years old and since then he hasn't stopped. He is highlighting in the current flamenco scene for being one of the most powerful and creative solo guitarists, outstanding with his virtuosity, personality, maturity, personal sound and style. Amir has worked with: Chambao, Radio Tarifa, Jorge Pardo, Tomasito, Raimundo Amador, María Dolores Pradera, Diego El Cigala, Miguel Poveda, Jose Mercé, Lole Montoya, Miguel Poveda, Eliseo Parra, Estrella Morente, Naseer Shamma, Shankar Mahadevan, Juno Reactor, Hamsika Iyer, Marcus Miller, and much more. Amir is a guitar and Arabic oud virtuoso.
