Warmest regards, Otmaro Ruíz About Otmaro Ruíz Highly acclaimed Venezuelan pianist, composer and arranger OTMARO RUÍZ moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and quickly ascended to the upper echelon of the city's musicians alongside such greats as Alex Acuña, Justo Almario and Abraham Laboriel. He has performed in every major international jazz festival and with such varied artists as Dianne Reeves, Gino Vannelli, Arturo Sandoval, Tito Puente, John McLaughlin, Frank Gambale, Alain Caron, Jimmy Haslip and Vinnie Colaiuta.
