| Jazz Record Collectors’ Bash – Dates Set For 2017 And We’re Moving Dates for the 2017 Jazz Record Collectors' Bash have been set: Friday & Saturday, June 23 & 24. New Location: Hilton Garden Inn, Edison, New Jersey. This is five miles from the former location where the Bash has been held since 2008. What stays the same: Guest room rate of $119 per night plus tax. Parking is free. Convenience to public transport – 3 miles from Metuchen train station from where hotel courtesy van will provide free pickup & drop off. Metuchen is one stop after Metropark on the same NJ Transit line. From NYC, Newark and Newark Liberty Airport, Metuchen is one stop after Metropark on the same NJ Transit line. Early dealer setup & early general admission on Thursday evening. We expect to be able to accommodate approximately the same number of vendor tables as in the past. What's new: The Bash room is on the ground floor with entrance close to hotel side entrance from parking lot. Hotel dining is in lobby. Buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner are served, but no lunch. Next door is Harold's Kosher Deli and diagonally across the highway intersection is a Sheraton Hotel that serves lunch. Hotel guest rooms are equipped with refrigerators and microwave ovens. Hotel has business center with computer terminals.
