| Other Houses, New Album on Aagoo Records! Fabulous Dates is the new full-length album from Other Houses, led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Morgan Enos (Hollow Sunshine, Hheaven). Conceived in fits and starts throughout 2016, "Dates" is a hurled cherry bomb of great songs. Both extremes of Other Houses' mid-fi sound are taken deeper and further, with baroque harpsichords and strings a la "Sgt. Pepper's" and "Smile" careening into garage-rock fuzz. Says its creator, "I call Fabulous Dates my punk album. Not so much sonically (though it does at times), but in its worldview and quick running time. This album is about parties, drinks, formality, and social lives. And what I love & resent about all these things could only be expressed in either a punk tantrum or a baroque pop song from 1967."
