| The Pete McGuinness Jazz Orch. at The Blue Note Pete McGuinness Jazz Orchestra Sunday 8/7 at The Blue Note Sets at 11:30 am & 1:30 pm GRAMMY nominated Jazz Trombonist, Composer-Arranger and Vocalist Pete McGuiness is pleased to announce his third appearance headlining at The Blue Note jazz club. Pete is a three-time GRAMMY nominated jazz arranger (including two nominations in 2015). He's appeared on the 2015 Downbeat Critics Poll in two categories: "Rising Star: Jazz Vocalist" and "Rising Star: Jazz Arranger". The Band will perform selections from its recent CD "Strength In Numbers" (Summit Records) (peaked at #18 on the Jazz Week radio charts in 2015). Pete McGuiness is currently the Tenured-Professor of Jazz Arranging at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. The Band is chock-full of seasoned NYC jazz big band musicians and soloists.
