| Remembering Zen Matsuura My friend Zen Matsuura passed away on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. Zen was the powerful drummer of Commitment, a collective band that was my first jazz experience. Zen was a man of great kindness and immense musical imagination. He listened to each moment of life deeply and responded with goodness, passion, and beauty. We will celebrate his life this Saturday, June 25, 7:30pm.
