| Stevie Hawkins Prevails "Best Blues/ R&B Song" Winner In December 2015 Akademia Music Awards Stevie Hawkins was victorious in the December 2015 Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles, winning the award for "Best Blues / R&B Song " for the title "Talk To Me ", co-written by Charlotte Hannon. The winners were selected by a judging panel of music industry professionals who reviewed hundreds of song entries for consideration of the accolades. The song "Talk To Me" is featured on Hawkins' album, "What The Funk?" This makes the 7th accolade received by Hawkins and Charlotte Hannon for the album. Hawkins said, "This is exciting news. I am very honored to have been nominated by the judging panel, and thank them and The Akademia Music Awards sincerely for deeming the song worthy of this honor.
