| 2015 Latin Grammy Street Parties Announce Artist Lineup The Latin Recording Academy, Eventus and Univision today announced the 2015 Latin GRAMMY Street Parties headliners, El Dasa, Jesus Mendoza, La Original Banda El Limon, Kevin Ortiz and Rey Ruiz. The 2015 Latin GRAMMY Street Parties is presented by Walmart and in its 13th consecutive year of success. The three-stop cross-country series will precede the live broadcast of the most anticipated Latin awards show, the 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards and will kick off in Los Angeles on Sunday, Oct. 18 and will continue throughout select Sundays in October and November with stops in Dallas on Oct. 25, and in Hialeah, Fla. on Nov. 8. "We are excited to give music fans and families the opportunity to experience part of the Latin GRAMMYs through our Street Parties, " said Gabriel Abaroa Jr., President/CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. "Music is an emotional touchpoint for our community and unites us on this important component of the The Road To The Latin GRAMMYs, " said Abaroa. The Latin GRAMMY Street Parties offer an interactive traveling musical festival, which includes live entertainment, sponsor display areas and product sampling. The series features performances by some of Latin music's top artists, while serving as a launching pad for emerging talent representing various genres in Latin music. This year's Latin GRAMMY Street Parties bring together the brightest talent in Latin music with fans for the largest free festival music series in the country. "Once again, we feel special pride in partnering with The Latin Recording Academy and Univision in bringing Latin music close to the fans who after all are the ones that are at the heart of it all. Without them we have nothing, " said Nelson Albareda, President of Eventus. "The Latin GRAMMY Street Parties is a great way for fans to get even more excited about one of the biggest nights in Latin music and we're pleased to be working with this amazing talent line-up and partners, " said Alberto Ciurana, president of Programming and Content for Univision Communications Inc. The free community music festival is part of The Road to the Latin GRAMMYs which culminates with The Biggest Night in Latin Music, the 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The show will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 8 - 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) on Univision. In addition to its U.S. broadcast, the Latin GRAMMY Awards will broadcast in more than 100 countries worldwide.
