| Amy Helm Releases Debut Solo LP 'Didn't It Rain' Amy Helm releases debut solo LP 'Didn't It Rain' July 24 on eOne Music 'Didn't It Rain' features some of the final recordings of Amy Helm's father, Levon Helm (late drummer of The Band) and was recorded in "The Barn" (Levon Helm Studios) that has long hosted his Midnight Rambles in Woodstock, NY Album also features Amy's touring band The Handsome Strangers, along with special appearances by John Medeski, Bill Payne (Little Feat), Catherine Russell, Marco Benevento, and more Amy Helm will join Mavis Staples and Patty Griffin on tour this July, and will open for Sheryl Crow at The Wolf Trap in VA May 26 and Dr. John at Central Park Summerstage in NYC August 1. Amy Helm previously performed and recorded in Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble Band and is a founding member of roots ensemble Ollabelle 'Didn't It Rain' tracklist: 1. Didn't It Rain 2. Rescue Me 3.
