Steven Chera & The Duplex Present: "My Favorite Love Songs" May 7th 9pm

Steve Chera and The Bob Kaye Trio have been capturing the attention of critics and taste-makers in New York City, as well as crafting a unique cross-generational audience by blending songs of the classic American Songbook from the '20s to the '40s with early Rock n' Roll from the '50s through the '70s. Come join Steven and his trio on this passionate journey across a half century of the classics while he sings "My Favorite Love Songs."

Brooklyn-born Steven Chera is a singer and performer who revels in the music of the Great American Songbook to early rock 'n roll. A mellow-toned tenor with a supple delivery that can gently pull a familiar melody to unfamiliar places, Chera is a modern-day crooner with a vintage style all his own.

Steven has just released his fourth studio album: "My Tribute to The King, " comprised entirely of his take on Elvis classics. The self-taught singer has been refining his Elvis homage from an early age, reaching daring peaks of vocal mastery, while growing to infuse his own brand of charisma into his heartfelt tribute to the King.
