| Newport Jazz Festival Flexible Discount Tickets Are Back The Newport Jazz Festival presented by Natixis Global Asset Management is set for July 31 – August 2, 2015 and the Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc. is already celebrating the 61st year. Jazz fans can get a head start on their summer plans by purchasing flexible discount tickets while supplies last at the Newport Visitor Information Center, 23 America's Cup Avenue, beginning Wednesday, November 12, at 10:00 am. The $55 "Flex" tickets can be used for adult general admission either Saturday or Sunday to the concerts at Fort Adams State Park. With a Flex ticket, there is no need for fans to decide now which day to attend. General admission tickets are regularly priced at $74. Jazz lovers should act now to take advantage of this great savings. The offer is not valid on reserved seats, or for the Friday evening concert at the International Tennis Hall of Fame at the Newport Casino. Special $20 Student tickets are also back and a limited number of flexible tickets are available at this rate. High school students older than 15 and college students with valid ID must use the Student Gate and present valid ID to enter the festival. Students without valid ID will be directed to the Box Office to pay the difference of a general admission ticket. Flex tickets for Children ages 3 – 15 are $ 15. "We are still feeling the excitement of the 60th anniversary and we have already begun booking the 2015 line-up of some of the greatest established and emerging musicians for the three-day festival, " said George Wein, Chairman of the Newport Festivals Foundation, Inc. and Founder/Producer of the Newport Jazz and Folk Festivals. "Last year we sold more than 2, 000 Flex tickets and over 2, 800 student tickets, which is a sign that the concepts are catching on! We're again pleased to make the Flex discount tickets available early so our Newport friends can decide at a later date which day they want to attend or give them as gifts at the holiday season."
