| Bret Primack, the Jazz Video Guy, Now Producing $500 Promotional Videos Bret Primack, aka, the Jazz Video Guy, is pleased to announce the debut of his new website, Jazz Video Promotion (www.jazzvideopromotion.com). An award winning filmmaker with the largest Jazz channel on You Tube (1400 videos, 30 million views), Bret is now offering his video production services to the Jazz community, starting with a five hundred dollar basic package, ideal for a CD release or special event promotional video. "I produce video in every price range, " Bret explains, "And I offer posting on my Jazz Video Guy network, which includes my Jazz Video Guy YouTube channel (forty five thousand subscribers), my Facebook page (five thousand friends), and my Twitter feed, (six thousand followers). So I produce video and offer a potent distribution network, as well." In addition to his ongoing documentation of Sonny Rollins, including Sonny's recent Google Hangout with his Fans, and the saxophonist's New Yorker article response, Bret has been working on a variety of projects. "I'm really excited about documenting the recording and performance of Bob Mintzer's Big Band at Manchester Craftman's Guild last month for a podcast series that will debut on the web in early 2015, " Bret reveals. Currently running on YouTube, Bret's twenty part video podcast series, Prestige Lives!, which he produced for Concord Records earlier this year. "I worked closely with Nick Phillips to create a dynamic series of short videos that tell the Prestige story from the perspective of such participants as Ira Gitler and Bob Porter, and through the eyes of younger artists like Melissa Aldana, Kris Bowers, and Christian Scott, " Bret explains. "This week, two of my favorite episodes debut, "Zoot Sims, Swinging the Blues, " featuring interviews with Dan Morgenstern and Marc Myers, and a Rudy Van Gelder tribute in conjunction with the master engineer's 90th birthday." Bret also produces videos for independent artists and smaller labels including a promo video for Hendrik Meurkens' new recording "Junity, " which is up for Grammy consideration, and a promotional video for the upcoming Red Garland recording produced by Zev Feldman. "I live in Tucson, Arizona, not exactly the Jazz capital of the world, but with the Skype and Google Hangout, I can do interviews with artists anywhere on the planet, " Bret explains.
