| MSM Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra and Bobby Sanabria perform a Pre-Halloween Concert Mash The multi-Grammy nominated MANHATTAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC AFRO-CUBAN JAZZ ORCHESTRA, under the direction of seven-time Grammy nominee BOBBY SANABRIA will perform a Pre-Halloween Concert Mash on Thursday, October 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the School's Borden Auditorium. The program will include four world premieres – Havana by trombonist John Fedchock; Mirando El Mismo Cielo by MSM alumnus Takao Heisho; The Slumbering Giant's Dream by Eugene Marlow; and The Frankenstein Suite based on works by Ray Charles and Edgar Winter's iconic, Frankenstein by MSM alumnus Jeremy Fletcher; as well as New York premieres by Alex Brown, The Wrong Jacket and Don Ellis' Indian Lady. Other composers that will be showcased will include Chris Washburne, Frank Zappa and Bobby Sanabria. This concert is FREE and tickets are not required.
