You hear Roseanna's sheer commitment and unique spin on Fischer's music, courtesy of pianist Mark Soskin's ambitious arrangements. Sara Caswell's violin weaves a magic spell around Vitro's soulful voice on a new book of lyrics to the master's melodies. This is the first contemporary vocal book of Clare Fischer's melodies. The new lyrics were penned by wordsmiths; Roger Schore, Cheryl Pyle and Paul Wickliffe, birthing six new gorgeous songs for the vocal jazz repertoire, plus Clare's famous composition, "Pensativa, " "Morning, " "I Remember Spring, " and the Ary Barrosso classic, "Inquietacao" now "The Web of Love." "Roseanna's voice is better than ever, more personal, more HER like no one else can be.
