The Apex Downtown Business Association expects to draw up to 15, 000 people to this highly-anticipated annual event.

"Every year, this event gets bigger and better, " said Blaine East, one of the event's volunteer coordinators. "Last year, we had more than 10, 000 people from not just the local region but from surrounding states, come to have a great time. This year's attendees will enjoy an even more festival-like atmosphere since we are able to close the streets. People will be able to walk around and mill in the street, so it will be a lot more wide open than in previous years."

The Apex Downtown Business Association (ADBA) is a non-profit public entity dedicated to sustaining and developing Historic Downtown Apex. Its members include retail, restaurant and service businesses in and around Downtown Apex.
