| Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts Announces its 2014 Programming From September 5-7, 2014, Delaware Water Gap Celebration of the Arts (COTA) will present the 37th annual Jazz and Arts Festival celebrating America's major indigenous art form through music, dance, art and food. Over 15 performances by close to 75 artists from the local region will gather in the quaint town of Delaware Water Gap, nestled in the gateway to the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, to engage audiences of all ages with programs inspired by our rich jazz heritage. As in seasons past, the Festival has named a noteworthy roster of musicians to lead and inspire a range of programs including: Phil Woods & The COTA Festival Orchestra Nancy Reed and Spencer Reed The Evan Gregor and Matt Vashlishan Quartet Najwa Parkins and the After Hours Trio Bob Dorough and Friends Expansions The David Liebman Group Nellie McKay The renowned Sunday Jazz Mass and many more The array of Festival events will include evening and daytime concerts, outdoor performances and street events (held rain or shine), family events, and gallery viewings. This year's musical programming will span swing, funk, big band, avant-garde and more, creating diverse auditory experiences for everyone.
