| The Smooth Jazz Cruise Is The Greatest Party at Sea The Smooth Jazz Cruise has been the most successful and heralded music cruise in the world since its inception in 2004. With 17 sold-out sailings and the most amazing lineups ever offered, our Guests have renamed the cruise ... simply, The Greatest Party at Sea. As one Guest so aptly put it, we call it The Greatest Party at Sea because that is what it is. Our lineup includes hosts Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Boney James, Brian Culbertson and Candy Dulfer, and stars Joe Sample and Rick Braun. Norman Brown and Kirk Whalum will join us for The Smooth Jazz Cruise 15.1 (Jan. 11-18, 2015), and Peter White and Jonathan Butler will sail on The Smooth Jazz Cruise 15.2 (March 1-8, 2015). And, of course, both sailings will be highlighted by our very special guest, Natalie Cole. In addition to our stars, we have three bands of top-flight Musicians to support our Artists. And the lineup includes such heralded musicians as Eric Marienthal, Marc Antoine, Elan Trotman, Grace Kelly, Patches Stewart, Tom Braxton, Chance Howard and our fabulous Music Director, Brian Simpson. Dane Butcher continues his decade-plus stint as the Cruise Director, and our very special comedian, Alonzo Bodden, will once again keep us all laughing. Late night will feature DW3, the greatest party band at sea, and our dance parties rock with Biz Markie and Cool V making it happen every night. write your comments about the article :: © 2014 Jazz News :: home page |
