| Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Festival The Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation's (JSJBF) Summer Series of Festivals, voted "Favorite Music Festival" in 2014 in the 6th Annual Discover Jersey Arts' People's Choice Awards, end the summer on a good note by the shore with free entertainment, followed by fireworks at its upcoming Long Branch Jazz and Blues Festival on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 12:00 -10:00 p.m. at The Great Lawn, 28 McKinley Ave. in Long Branch, NJ. Thousands are anticipated to turn out for a day of live performances by talented jazz and blues musicians, food, crafter and sponsor exhibits, an Alex and Ani Hospitality Tent, beachfront views and activities for the entire family, followed by fireworks. The festival is rain or shine, free to the public, dog friendly and all ages are welcome to attend. The Long Branch Jazz and Blues Festival headliner is The Fins. The eight piece blues band has brought together several particularly rich musical styles to form one powerful, hard driving sound. During their tenure they have been the vanguard of rhythm and blues. The Fins are credited with bringing big band blues to the east coast; and their blend of rhythm and blues, jump, swing, jazz and urban Chicago sound has been exciting audiences wherever they perform.
