Diran Tavitjan is one of Europe's most exciting, contemporary pianists. His passion for classical music is equaled only by his love for jazz. Garo Tavitjan is a renown performer and jazz drummer. They are considered two of the brightest young talents from Macedonia. This special concert will feature selections from their new recording, The Tavitjan Brothers Play the Classics. The repertoire consists of contemporary jazz arrangements of Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Gershwin. Special Guests: New York Grammy Nominated Jazz Vocalist; Roseanna Vitro, will perform works by Irving Berlin and Johnny Mandel. Morris Pleasure is a multi-instrumentalist and renowned producer, will make a special appearance. Sofija Knezevic is considered one of the finest young jazz vocalists from Serbia.
