| Zawinul Legacy Band To Play Three New York City Dates in March The Zawinul Legacy Band will play two nights at ShapeShifter Lab, March 6th and 7th and one night at Carnegie Hall, March 8th. The Zawinul Legacy Band Is: Scott Kinsey-Keyboards Robert Thomas Jr.-Hand Drums Michael Baker - Drums Hadrien Feraud - Bass and Katisse Buckingham - Saxes and Flute The Zawinul Legacy Band plays the music of Joe Zawinul and his legendary, Grammy Award winning groups, Weather Report and The Zawinul Syndicate. The Zawinul Legacy Band isn't any ordinary "tribute" band. These musicians not only appreciate and value the creative and original music of Joe Zawinul, but most of them lived it right along side him. The core of the Zawinul Legacy Band is made up of players who have first-hand experience performing and recording with Joe, which gives them an invaluable insight and understanding of his music. In keeping with Joe's legacy for musical innovation and the discovery of new talent, The Zawinul Legacy Band welcomes new players that embody and honor the spirit of his music.
