Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver to Perform at Mill Town Music Hall

Multi-award winning bluegrass musician Doyle Lawson and his band Quicksilver will take stage at Mill Town Music Hall on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at 7 p.m. Eagle's Wing will open the concert with their unique sound of bluegrass instrumental and southern gospel vocals.

Lawson and his band's song "Dixie Road" from their current album, Roads Well Traveled, just became the #1 song on the prestigious Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine monthly chart for December. Lawson is reining SPBGMA Mandolin Player of the Year and was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in September 2012. Lawson and band were named Bluegrass Gospel Artist of the Year at 22nd the Annual Diamond Awards, as well as the 2012 ICM Vocal Group of the Year. In addition, they are 7-time IBMA Vocal Group of the Year winners. Recently, they received a prestigious Dove nomination and two Inspirational Country Music Association nominations. Lawson has produced nearly 40 albums.

Eagle's Wings marries the soulful sound of Southern Gospel with the instrumentals of Bluegrass, which has helped them build a local following in Jasper, AL. Their current CD is entitled Road Back Home and in 2013 they were selected to sing main stage at the National Quartet Convention.
