Jeri Brown in Washington, D. C. this weekend

Jazz Vocalist Jeri Brown will perform in Washington, D. C. Nov. 10 as part of the Billboard Spoken Word Awards event with Spoken Word Award winner The Oracle (aka) Denise Cook. The two will perform at several locations in the area during the festive weekend premiering Brown's single "In the Time of Summer (Hush Baby)". The collaborative work of singer and poetess provide a perfect blend for a thought provoking reflection. Jeri Brown is a Grammy Submitted Jazz Vocalist for her Sept. 3 release Echoes: Live at Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles.

Jeri Brown's ECHOES - Live at Catalina Jazz Club is 2-disc set features a CD & DVD from her live performance at Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles. Set includes a lively evening of jazz vocals with spiritually motivated improvisation between Jeri and her talented band Clayton Cameron drums, Trevor Ware bass, Woody Woods piano, and vocal guest, Mon David.
