| Rockabye Baby to Release Pearl Jam Lullabies On Vinyl Rockabye Baby celebrates Record Store Day's Back to Black Friday (11.29) with a special VINYL release of Lullaby Renditions of Pearl Jam. A Rockabye Baby classic, the album reworks the Seattle band's seminal grunge-rock as soothing bedtime instrumentals. From early Ten chart-toppers like "Alive, " "Jeremy" and "Even Flow" to more recent scorchers like "Just Breathe" and "The Fixer, " Rockabye Baby turns Pearl Jam's biggest hits into tender arrangements of bells, xylophone and wood blocks. Eddie Vedder's guttural growl and Stone Gossard's grungy guitar lose nothing in the dulcet lights-out translations. The package includes bright yellow vinyl, a four color inner sleeve and a download card of the whole album. Record Store Day, held annually in April with a second event on Black Friday, celebrates and promotes the unique culture surrounding the nearly 1, 000 independently owned record stores in the U.S. and thousands of similar stores internationally.
