George Wein: The Life of A Legend

Joining Wein for these special concert events are tenor saxophonist Lew Tabackin, trumpeter Randy Brecker, clarinetist and saxophonist Anat Cohen, guitarist Howard Alden, bassist Peter Washington, and drummer Lewis Nash.New York Times jazz journalist (and Wein's biographer) Nate Chinen hosts the events. Wein will swing firmly in the here-and-now, and retrospect on his life and times with stories and photos from his personal collection.

"Jazz is life!" says Wein. "Jazz has been my entire life. It means everything. I learned so much from jazz that it's affected me from that day right up until today – that's a long time to be influenced by a great music."
