Antonio Madruga is a Cuban-American pianist who was recently awarded the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald Award for outstanding soloist at the 2012 "Essentially Ellington" competition at Lincoln Center. Trumpeter Benny Benack III has quickly gained a reputation for being an incredibly versatile, fiery improviser who lends superb technique and musicality to any setting.
