| Tool Drummer Danny Carey Announces Tour Dates With Volto! As Tool fans sit around and wait for an announcement on a new album, Danny Carey will be performing with rock-fusion-jazz-blues band, Volto!. Fans are under the assumption that new Tool material is currently being written, but Maynard James Keenan has been focusing on his side-project, Puscifer. Puscifer has put our eight releases since the latest Tool release, which was 10, 000 Days in 2006. Volto! are set to release their debut album, Incitare, on July 23rd. "To get the performance and overdubs onto tape, they dusted off an old Studer A827 gold 24-track machine, " reads a Volto! press release about the band's debut record. "It might have taken nearly a decade to get to this point, but once the ball was rolling (and custom Neve faders set), things proceeded at a rather quick pace."
