Jazz Vocalist Kathy Sanborn Presents “That Cary Grant Smile”

For over four decades in film, classic movie star Cary Grant dazzled them all with his infectious grin. Through movies like The Philadelphia Story, My Favorite Wife, and Bringing Up Baby, Cary Grant epitomized the suave leading man that every woman desired and every man wanted to become.

Sultry Night, the steamy new jazz album from singer, pianist, and composer Kathy Sanborn, honors the sophisticated actor with a new song, "That Cary Grant Smile."

Sanborn says, "When Cary Grant flashed his famous grin, he brought joy and happiness to his movie audiences. I wanted to pay tribute to the actor that so many still watch and enjoy today, courtesy of networks like Turner Classic Movies."

Even the Sultry Night album cover photo pays homage to decades past: Sanborn's look is evocative of the film noir days of the '40s, when Cary Grant starred in such noirish films as Suspicion and Mr. Lucky.

Sanborn's new album will be available in both digital and CD formats. The digital Sultry Night releases July 2nd, 2013 through popular digital outlets such as iTunes. The CD version of Sultry Night debuts September 3rd, 2013.

Sultry Night follows Sanborn's critically acclaimed albums, Six Degrees of Cool and Blues for Breakfast. Both albums reached Amazon's bestselling MP3 Vocal Jazz charts.
