| Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival Returns for 29th Year ![]() As well as live performances from both legendary and up-and-coming global talent, this year's festival will include a screening of phenomenal feature length film The Artist, in the world's oldest functioning picture house: The Electric Cinema. Other events include the return of the British Jazz Awards to its home city of Birmingham on the 10th July, 7:30pm in St. Paul's Church in the Jewellery Quarter. This prestigious ceremony, dubbed "The Jazz Oscars" will be followed by The Poll Winners concert, which is set to be a highlight of the festival.
