| Masterful World Musicians Perform “Live at Center Stage” Middleman Productions proudly announces an unprecedented live concert series that brings a provocative and highly infectious blend of world music and genre-defining recording artists to Cape Cod. The show, called "Live From Center Stage", is set in the heart of vintage Cape Cod along New England's coast. The interactive concert milieu will offer a masterful concoction of world music: R&B, Jazz, Blues, Latin and more. Each of the impressive acts will perform live at the Cape Cod Community Media Center and the concerts will be streamed via the Internet for listeners around the world, along with behind-the-scenes pre- and post-show interviews with the artists. Show lineup through summer 2013: April 25, 8 PM - Gary Foote HarlemWorks - Featuring R&B and jazz from the CD HarlemWorks, performed by outstanding musicians led by composer/producer Gary Foote, who is the bass player for Smokey Robinson and formerly for Blood, Sweat and Tears. May 31, 8 PM – Romero - Grammy nominated composer and guitarist Romero's style is heavily sensual and inescapably infectious. Flamenco-gypsy, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean folk is infused with textures of classical, jazz and Latin rhythms. Sophisticated yet accessible. June 28, 8 PM - Henri Smith New Orleans Jazz, Blues and Standards, along with Japanese violinist Orie Furuta – Performing/recording artist Henri Smith began polishing his sophisticated, dramatic vocal delivery at a young age in the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans. Today he thrills audiences with his New Orleans jazz, blues, Creole and Cajun music, touring extensively throughout the United States and Europe. July 26, 8 PM - Dario Boente - Argentine pianist/composer Dario Boente's energetic musical personality bridges jazz-club and dance-club. Popular in the jazz and electronica scene from New York and Madrid to London and Ibiza, Dario effectively blends world-beat electronica with romantic Argentine and jazz compositions on a grand piano. Raised on the Caribbean Island of St. Maarten, Ivan has produced numerous TV commercials, campaign ads, documentaries and many live concerts with artists such as Ludacris, Bow Wow, Morgan Heritage, Sanchez, Jah Rule, Beenie Man, Byron Lee and the Dragonaires. Mark Person: As founder of Middleman Productions, Mark humbly offers his passion, insight and talents as a music promoter, artist manager event planner and consultant to "help other artists achieve success." Mark's passion for music was sparked at an early age, singing the church choir. Booking the legendary Lou Columbo for his first gig as a music promoter set him on his way.
