| Basinet's Santa Baby Heats Up NCIS Los Angeles Holiday Episode Cynthia's iconic rendition of Santa Baby will be featured in the December 18th episode of NCIS: Los Angeles (episode 410, entitled "Free Ride"), starring Chris O' Donnell, LL Cool J, and the rest of the cast of CBS's #4 ranked show. The NCIS: LA family spends a holiday part as an investigation into a fellow agent's death takes them by air, land, and sea and Cynthia's music helps to set the holiday romantic mood in this episode. "Santa Baby", available on her latest CD, "The Standard", which has been fifteen years in the making and features 11 tracks, including new mixes of "Going Out Of My Head", "Blue Moon", and "Sweet Dreams". Also included, a stunning new rendition of "The Christmas Song", which was arranged by Lee Musiker. "The Standard" is available on iTunes. Cynthia Basinet is best known for her iconic 1997 rendition of the classic Santa Baby. This version, often incorrectly attributed to Marilyn Monroe, due to illegal file sharing has influenced today's artists. Cynthia, or "C" as she's often called, has been active in humanitarian work for many years, and was even co-nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 in an effort to recognize the efforts of women in promoting peace for the 100th anniversary of the prize.
