| The Iridium Celebrates New Year's Eve With Jazz Legend Mike Stern Jazz/fusion guitar giant Mike Stern will return to The Iridium for his annual New Year's Eve run 12/27-31, joined by an all-star lineup including Grammy-winning trumpeter Randy Brecker (Charles Mingus, Todd Rundgren), bassist Anthony Jackson (Simon & Garfunkel, Chick Corea), and drummer Dave Weckl (Robert Plant, George Benson). Sets are at 8 & 10pm 12/27-30, and at 7 & 10:30pm on 12/31. The Iridium's award-winning chef, Rafael Vargas, has designed a special four-course menu for the New Year's Eve performances, which will be available at the early set and included with the price of admission for the late set. Tickets for the early show 12/31 are $50 plus a $25 food/drink minimum, and can be purchased via phone or Ticketweb (http://www.ticketweb.com). Tickets for the late show, which include dinner, are $175, and can only be reserved by phone via The Iridium's box office: 212.582.2121 Times Square will be shut down for the New Year's festivities 12/31, so all guests must have a special pass to enter the area. The Iridium will supply all ticketholders with this pass, which will also include a map for getting into the Times Square zone.
