Cynthia Holiday To Appear on ABC 7 TV show “Here And Now.”

NY/ international singer/songwriter Cynthia Holiday is showcased as the featured guest on this weeks's airing of the ABC 7 show "Here And Now."
Tracey Washington Bagley, WABC Senior Producer, engages Cynthia in a discussion about her life as the daughter of a jazz musician growing up in Newark, NJ and about Ms. Holiday's perspectives of the Harlem jazz scene. Cynthia shares her early journey pursuing her passion to sing and travel experiences to international gigs like a 6-city tour in Russia.

The segment includes Cynthia's performance at the historic Showmans Jazz Club in Harlem. Included in her "I Like What I See" show are two original songs co penned with her music director and Jazz organist, Radam Schwarz: "I Like What I See", is a familiar scenario, Girls night out looking for Mr. Right, and "You Got A Job To Do" a working woman's humorous encounters with people throughout the day. Other original songs include "Beneath The Surface" by Harlem based saxophonist, Bill Saxton and "Samba de Amore" Brooklyn's own bassist Bob Cunningham, Marion Cowings and Kim Kalesti.

Cynthia Holiday's debut CD, "All The Way" features her own personal touch and interpretations of standards, blues and adult contemporary songs. John Snyder produced two tracks with Cedar Walton, David Williams-bass; Joe Farnsworth-drums. Eulis Cathey produced the others and Al Perrotta mastered the CD.
