| The Bar-Kays Launch New EP CD, “Grown Folks”, On October 22nd With their roots beginning in their hometown, the Home of the Blues, Memphis, Tennessee, the Bar-Kays are set to take Funk to a new level in 2012 with the release of their upcoming EP, "Grown Folks", launching worldwide on October 22nd distributed by Bungalo Records/Universal Music Group Dist. The EP's title single "Grown Folks" has been heating up the Billboard hot 100 and the Urban AC Charts for several months now. The Bar-Kays will be embarking upon a world-wide tour first part of 2013. Best known for trailblazing the music industry with multiple Funk hits, the Bar-Kays are no strangers to breaking records with their track record of numerous charting singles that include "Hit and Run", "Sex-O-Matic", "Soul Finger", "Son of Shaft", to name a few.
