| The Garry Dial Trio appearing at Smalls Fri., Oct 26th 7:30pm to 10pm Pianist Garry Dial is pleased to announce that he will be playing at Smalls on Friday Oct 26 at 7 30.until 10pm. Smalls is at 183 West 10th Street, Greenwich Village, New York City. Appearing with Garry will be Jay Anderson on Bass and Joe Hunt on drums. It is a special treat to have this legendary drummer come down from Boston. Joe played with the original Stan Getz group on the legendary Girl From Ipanema recording and also played with the Bill Evans Trio, says Garry. There will also be some special guests sitting in too. About Garry Dial Garry Dial has firmly established himself as one of the most prodigious and respected talents in jazz today, always broadening his artistic horizons as a pianist, composer, producer and teacher. Throughout his remarkable career, he has performed with such jazz legends as Red Rodney, Dick Oats, Dizzy Gillespie, Gerry Mulligan, Roy Haynes, Mel Lewis, Nat Adderly, Joe Lovano, and Jerry Bergonzi.
