| Stephanie Jordan’s lost charmed Swarovski bracelet turned in by a Reverend Jordan New Orleans - In an ironic ending to an earlier reported story about a lost "good luck" charm of jazz vocalist Stephanie Jordan, the lost Swarovski Bracelet was turned in by Reverend Marilyn Jordan. Revered Jordan, who is of no relation to Stephanie, is a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in New Orleans where South Broad, Napoleon and Fontainbleau comes together. Gloria Dei, which means "glory to God", was founded in1927 and has been an anchor in the New Orleans community. Stephanie had lost the "good luck" charm during her performance on this past Thursday at Jazz in The Park series in Louis Armstrong Park. Jordan said that she almost felt like running off the stage to go looking for the bracelet. During the show, staff and family members disbursed themselves throughout the crowd in search of the treasured charm but to no avail. Jordan then thought that maybe she had simply left the bracelet at home and thus chose not to make any announcement from the stage. "Once making it home and realizing the bracelet was gone, I thought all was lost. I cried, prayed, and cried some more, then just decided to put it in God's hands. I am so now relieved that it was Reverend Jordan who was the one who located it. It is a sign of faith" says Jordan. Jordan began wearing the bracelet when she started her "Tribute to Lena Horne" show and has worn it for every show since; Jazz Fest; Harris Theater; Sung Harbor, everywhere. She even wore it in the studio during the recording of the tribute CD; Stephanie Jordan Sings a Tribute to the Fabulous Lena Horne. "It has meant so much to me and I did not feel complete without it on my wrist" says Jordan. Reverend Jordan, said that someone realize the bracelet was on the ground and someone showed it to her, she secured it but had no means of identifying the rightful owner until she read the email announcing that it had been lost by the singer. "I am so glad I did not throw it away . . . Only by seeing the picture did I remember that it was the same item that's your (Stephanie's) good luck charm and I began to look through the items in hope to retrieve it." Reverend Jordan was able to reach Ms. Jordan on Friday and the two met later that day. They exchange the bracelet for a signed CD and a commitment from Ms. Jordan to perform at Reverend Jordan's church during one of their fundraiser.
